Tutorial – Your first presentation

Today I will do a step-by-step tutorial on how to get started with your first presentation onĀ Presefy. I will assume that you have already signed up for your free account and logged in to our service. If you haven’t, you can do that here – Sign up for a free account

Uploading your preso

On the main screen – right after your login, you can easily upload your presentation by dragging the presentation file to the highlighted area on the picture. If your browser doesn’t support the drag ‘n drop feature then you can always use the conventional file picker.

We currently support PDF and PowerPoint filetypes. If you have the possibilty to choose, I recommend you use PDF-files since the PowerPoint converter has occasional problems with some content.

I uploaded a 7 slide ( ~1Mb ) PowerPoint presentation and it converted in a few seconds. After the conversion is done, the presentation will be ready for use.

Taking the stage

Now you are ready to take the stage and try the converted preso on your mobile device. Go to presefy.com on your mobile device and login. Then you will see all your presentations, in this case we see the preso I just uploaded. Click it and on the next screen click show. The second the presentation shows up on your mobile device it will also be loaded to your unique channel.

Now your audience can follow along

Now you can tell your audience to follow your presentation on their own laptops or tablets. Only thing they need to do is type in your channel address to their browser and they are ready. Your unique channel address is presefy.com/your_username. For example the url to my channel is presefy.com/eero

Try it – You will love it!

After you’ve learned these basics we will be going through some more exciting stuff that you can do with Presefy. It’s amazing how much coolness you can bring to boring presentations with this kind of innovation – So stay tuned for more!
